(2) With ever increasing burglary rates some people will want a house-sitter to guard the house whilst they are on holiday. Usual deal is free accommodation in exchange for looking after the house. People with camper vans find this to be a good arrangement as do people who holiday in Australia. Of course if its their own home the council cannot say much. There is far too much officialdom in this country already and we don't need any more..
