Family Law Team
Paul served his Articles in Lincoln’s Inn before moving to Hertfordshire eventually dealing with all the court work in the small practice which he joined. He came to Somerset in 1982 where he began to concentrate on criminal family work.
Paul specialises in Family Law dealing with both private and public law and has both publicly funded and private clients, he represents not only parents but also children, usually, but not always on the instructions of the Children’s Guardian. Paul has also been instructed by the Official Solicitor and has worked with some of the leading medical psychiatric and psychological experts in these fields.
Paul also undertakes some Landlord and Tenant work.
Career
Qualified in 1975 and has been a partner with Broomhead and Saul since 1986.
Member of the Children Panel since 1988.
Member of Resolution.
Interests
Apart from work Paul loves music and is a member of two local choirs. He enjoys walking in the Quantocks and working in his garden where he is definitely the under-gardener!
