Senior Partner – Solicitor
Raymond is Somerset born and bred and in 1969 entered the legal profession as a trainee legal executive with Broomhead and Saul, he then signed up for a five year Article Clerkship with the firm in the Taunton Office but is now based at the Ilminster Office.
Raymond has a reputation for attention to detail and leaving no stone unturned to do the best for his clients, his outstanding reputation means that he has an extensive loyal client base and has continued to act for several generations of the same families who in turn have recommended him to friends and colleagues.
Enjoying a variety of legal disciplines, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail which he also expects from his staff and colleagues, Raymond has played a major role in the success of Broomhead and Saul.
Raymond deals with both private and publicly funded clients alike as he deals with not only Conveyancing, commercial Leases, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney but also Criminal matters which are usually financed through the Legal Aid system.
Raymond has a wealth of knowledge and is the best person to have representing you should you be in the unfortunate position of being interviewed in the Police Station or having to attend Magistrates or Crown Courts, his priority is the most successful outcome for his client.
Career
Qualified as a Solicitor in 1976 and became a Partner at the age of 23 and is now Senior Partner of the firm.
Interests
In his free time Raymond goes clay pigeon shooting, enjoys walking, good food, fine wine and spending time with his family.
